Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy was written by babak.my as a reasonable operational default for how we handle refunds and cancellations. It does not replace, and is subordinate to, any specific payment or cancellation terms agreed in a signed Service Agreement or Statement of Work for a given project, and it does not limit any statutory consumer-protection rights you may have under applicable law.

1. Two Kinds of Service 两类服务

babak.my sells two different kinds of service, and refunds work differently for each:

• Project engagements — one-off web, software, or consulting work billed by deposit and/or milestone invoices 项目合作——按定金和/或里程碑发票计费的一次性网站、软件或咨询工作
• Subscription services — hosting, VPS, and similar services billed on a recurring cycle (monthly, yearly, etc.) that renew automatically unless cancelled 订阅服务——托管、VPS及类似服务，按循环周期（月付、年付等）计费，除非取消否则自动续订

2. Project Engagements 项目合作

• A deposit or milestone payment for work that has not yet started may be refunded, at our discretion, if the engagement is cancelled before we begin 对于尚未开始的工作，如在开始前取消合作，我们可酌情退还定金或里程碑付款
• Once work on a milestone has started, the payment for that milestone is non-refundable, as it covers time and resources already committed 一旦某个里程碑的工作已经开始，该里程碑的付款不予退还，因为其已用于承担的时间和资源
• A final deliverable that has been delivered and accepted is non-refundable 已交付并验收的最终交付成果不予退还
• If we are unable to deliver a milestone through our own fault, we will either remedy the work or refund the payment for that specific milestone 如因我们自身原因未能交付某个里程碑，我们将补救该工作或退还该里程碑的付款

Where a signed Service Agreement sets out different deposit, milestone, or refund terms for a specific project, those terms govern instead of this section.

3. Subscription and Hosting Services 订阅与托管服务

• You may cancel auto-renewal for a subscription at any time before its next renewal date; cancelling stops future billing but does not itself refund the current billing period 您可以在下次续订日期之前随时取消订阅的自动续订；取消将停止未来的计费，但不会退还当前计费周期的费用
• We do not provide prorated refunds for early cancellation of an active hosting or VPS billing period, since the resources for that period have already been provisioned 由于当期资源已经配置完成，我们不为提前取消当前有效的托管或VPS计费周期提供按比例退款
• If a service was billed in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after cancellation was already confirmed), contact us and we will investigate and refund the erroneous charge 如服务被错误计费（例如重复扣款，或在已确认取消后仍被扣款），请联系我们，我们将调查并退还错误扣款
• We send renewal reminders ahead of each renewal date; please review them promptly, as unpaid renewals may result in service suspension 我们会在每个续订日期前发送续订提醒；请及时查看，逾期未付可能导致服务暂停

4. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation 如何申请退款或取消

Contact us through our contact page with your invoice or account reference and the reason for your request. We aim to respond to refund and cancellation requests within a few business days.

5. Payment Processing Fees 支付处理费用

Where a payment processor (such as Stripe) has already deducted a transaction fee on a payment we refund, that processing fee is generally non-recoverable by us and may be deducted from the refunded amount.

6. Chargebacks 拒付

Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — most billing questions can be resolved faster directly with us. Chargebacks filed without contacting us first may result in suspension of the associated account or service while the dispute is investigated.

7. Changes to This Policy 本政策的变更

We may update this policy from time to time; changes take effect when posted on this page and apply to charges made after that date.
